We are connecting Canadian wool to the world—creating opportunity from fleece to finished product.
First-ever value chain conference in Toronto!
In partnership with Ontario Sheep Farmers, we are excited to introduce Canadian Wool Conversations — a new, first-of-its-kind one-day conference dedicated to Canada’s wool value chain, fully open to public. Uniting dreamers and doers, Canadian Wool Conversations will be a space for learning and community — a platform to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and come together to rebuild Canada’s industry, thread by thread.

Official implementing partner for the Campaign for Wool
Adopted in 2021, the Canadian Wool Council logo takes the form of a stylized ball of yarn which contains both the Canadian flag as well as thirteen strands representing Canada’s 10 provinces and three territories.
OUR PATRON: KING CHARLES III
The Campaign for Wool was launched in Canada by The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, now Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, in Pictou, Nova Scotia during their 2014 May Royal Tour.
The Campaign is His Majesty’s global endeavour to raise awareness of the unique, natural and sustainable benefits of wool, and currently runs across the world in 13 different countries.
Celebrating Canadian wool
We work with partners along the entire value chain with the goal of reviving the Canadian wool industry. Our mission is driven by three main goals:
- Rebrand and revalue Canadian wool
- Advocate for the entire Canadian wool value chain
- Give Canadian wool a voice on the international stage
